Q-1 If the area of the Regular octagon is (2+2√2) cm^2 Then find the inradius of the regular octagon ?
प्रश्न -1 यदि नियमित अष्टकोण का क्षेत्र (2 + 2√2) सेमी ^ 2 है तो नियमित अष्टकोण के इनर त्रिज्या ज्ञात करें |
(A) ❪3+2√2❫ / 2 cm (B) √2-1 cm
(C) ❪√2+1❫/2 cm (D) √2+1 cm
Solution :-
Area of regular octagon = 2(√2+1)a▴2
2(√2+1)a▴2 = 2+2√2
a = 1
r =a/2 cot 180˚/n
Here r is the inradius
r = 1/2 cot 180˚/8
r = 1/2 cot 22.5
r = (√2+1)/2 .
Q-2 From a point P inside the pentagon , perpendicular are drawn to the sides . Their
respective length are 1cm , 2cm , 3cm, 4cm , and 5cm then fins inradius of pentagon.
प्रश्न -2 किसी पंचभुज के अंदर किसी बिंदु P से, भुजाअों पर ङाले गये लंबो की लंबाई 1 सेमी, 2 सेमी, 3 सेमी, 4
सेमी,और 5 सेमी है तो पंचभुज के अंदर बने वृत की त्रिज्या ज्ञात करो ।
(A) 2 cm (B) 3 cm (C) 4 cm (D) 5 cm
Solution :-
h1 + h2 + h3 + h4 + h5 = 5r
Here h1 , h2 , h3 , h4 , h5 is the height and r is inradius .
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 5r
15 = 5r
r = 3 cm.
